This was a fun summer project....I saw this on Pinterest (my new favorite place on the computer).I know Paul loves it when I drag him in on a craft project.HaHa.... He raided the fire wood pile and sliced a few logs, then put a clear varnish on the top. I picked up some rocks from around his daughters pools and painted them like bees and ladybugs! The Grandchildren love it.....me too.

Scanning 12X12 Scrapbook Pages
I am totally excited to share this with all of you! I made a 12x12 scrapbook of me and my sisters growing up and wanted to share it with them, but I couldn't find anyone that could scan that size. I went to Office Depot and Staples and they said their scanner couldn't do it. At Kinkos they said it would cost boocoo bucks because of the size they had to photo each page at about $20.00 each. I then found FREE software to download.Yes I said FREE! I went to www.ArcSoft.com. It's called Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe. Check it out. The directions are very easy. All you have to do is scan each page 4 times from each corner, then just one button and it stitches it together. Tooooo Cooool!
The books I gave to my sisters are 8x8. The covers are just chipboard covered with scrapbook paper. For the page protectors I just cut down 8 1/2 x 11 , and used my Bind-it-All to bind it. Make sure to cut the cover a little larger than the pages.......As you can see the small lace trim around the outside! LOL That's why I loved crafting.........you can always fix your mistakes! This is a great way to be able to share your books with other family members. Let me know what ya think.
